 Our next Island master Seminar will be held on 16 and 17th August 2010. Please contact us for more information or to book a place.
 Occasionally, as demand dictates, at the Shepherd Research Farm, we host Island Master seminars. This is where we take potential Island Masters through our launching and educational programme. They are essential for anyone who is going to be working professionally with BioHavens.
 The seminar combines practical experience with theoretical knowledge, covering topics such as water health, Biomimetics, our Glossary of terms, planting issues and troubleshooting. Each participant experiences an island launch supervised by a Master; a shop visit is included; and business opportunities are explored...and much more besides. At the end, they receive an Island Master certificate to acknowledge their newly acquired expertise.
Our in-house scientists and support staff are on hand to answer any questions, and of course participants gain benefit from each others' experience. We all learn a lot at these seminars, whether we are beginners or have a lifetime's exposure to the issues!
